If you’ve ever struggled to perfect your pronunciation or wishes you didn’t have to spend so much time working on diction with your coach, this new app is the answer to your prayers. Created by mezzo-soprano and composer Viktoriya Vita Koreneva, bass Kofi Hayford, and mezzo-soprano and diction coach Emma Lavandier, the mobile app features hundreds of song, oratorio, and aria texts recorded by native speakers.
Currently, repertoire is available in English, Italian, French, German, Russian and Latin; more selections are added regularly and you can even make requests. The app is free to download on Google Play or the Apple Store, and an annual subscription costs less than what you’d pay for an NYC coaching.
