The Opera Foundation (formerly the American Berlin Opera Association) offers provides four professional scholarships and study grants annually to qualified young American singers between the ages of 18 and 30 who wish to study and work overseas. Up to four emerging artists each year are placed with Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro Regio di Torino, and Die Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich.
