Mory Ortman is an accomplished vocal coach, accompanist, and music director who is comfortable in classical/operatic repertoire as well as musical theatre and cabaret style. His studio is located in Washington Heights,but he is willing to travel. He is active in recital and cabaret work in and around the city, and is a regular accompanist for Manhattan Concert Productions, a company that brings distinguished conductors to Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to lead choruses and orchestras from around the country. He is also active in Career Bridges, an organization that promotes the careers of young opera singers and introduces opera to elementary and high schools in the greater New York City area.
