The brainchild of tenor Zachary Thomas Newman and flutist/music teacher Theresa Kaye Powell, Eat Drink Opera is a new podcast dedicated to "making opera digestible to newcomers over dinner and a glass of wine". The foodies, oenophiles, and opera aficionados plan to critique and discuss the relevance of opera today while enjoying and discussing matching meals, such as The Barber of Seville, paired with tapas and a Spanish wine.
